Indian Railways is one of the largest railway networks in the world. Over 2.5 crore passengers travel by train on a daily basis. Indian Railways is the world's eighth-largest employer employing around (1.4 million people). As per sources in march 2018 over 2.8 crores, people apply for ninety thousand Indian Railway job,
getting your dream job may not be everyone’s cup of tea, so here is the man who has achieved his dream job. He was thrown out from the train during his struggle times now he has become a top-level officer in Indian Railway.           
 He is an ACM (Assistant commercial manager) of central railway Pune division. Those who don't know the ACM post then Google it or ask your relatives who are in railways.

I know many  ACM'S in this country but the unique thing to this person is his background struggles.

He used to travel in general class during his study time. He was thrown out of the train many times because he was travelling without a valid ticket Since he didn't have enough money to get a reserved seat on the train and he used to travel all over India for the exams purpose.

After long years of hard work, he got selected as a station master in Chennai but he was not satisfied with his work and he was a very brilliant student in his time. He started giving more exams for a higher post in railways. After a few years of hard work he got selected in the commercial inspector in railway but still, he is not satisfied he continued his hard work.

Now he is an ACM. Now he doesn't need a ticket since he gets a full year railway pass. Those ticket collectors (TC) who used to torcher him are so far below his post now and the whole Pune division knows him very well due to his tremendous work in his division and even his work is admired by Mumbai zone. He got many awards for his work. The highest post in Division is DRM (Divisional Railway Manager) After few years he may get DRM post in Pune division because there is only one post below the DRM that is DCM(Divisional commercial manager) He will get a promotion next year to DCM and after few years he may get DRM post sure.

N Ambika was just fourteen years old when she got married to a policeman at Dindigul, Tamilnadu.

So she was a victim of kid wedding. however, she didn't blame the system or society for her wedding. At the age of eighteen, she was the mother of two daughters.

Har husband works as a state police constable in Tamilnadu Government. One fine Early morning he leaves his home to attend a Parade function and the guest was followed by the IG and DIG.

Ambika was interested to know about the honouring and regard given for the DIG and IG. once her husband arrived home, she asked him about them (IG and DIG) once her husband said that they are most senior officers of the department, Ambika felt how lucky if she too becomes a law officer and rises to that level. Because she does not have complete knowledge about the department and there designation or position.  

But as ambika was married at a too early age she couldn't even finish up her SSLC.(High School) once she spoke to her husband, he said he would support her dream and recommended her to require seem for the SSLC examination as an external candidate. She did that and cleared her SSLC. Later she completed her PUC and Degree Exams as an external candidate.

She requested her husband to allow her to move to chennai in order that she will be able to go for the IPS coaching. He agreed and created arrangements for PG facility for her. Ambika's husband was very cooperative and he supported her in each possible manner. He makes a PG facility for her and helped her to get into IPS coaching classes.

Even after 3 attempts, Ambika did not clear IPS. Her husband told a disheartened Ambika to return back. He told her that government has given him accommodation facility and by the time he retires, even he would have 2 stars on his shoulder.

Ambika requested him to give her an extra year. She said, “If I don't succeed this year, i'll return back”. She felt that at least she may work as an educator in some school and support her husband.

Luckily for her, Ambika cleared her IPS prelims, mains and Interview in her fourth attempt.

After clearing IPS in 2008, she gets into training provided by the Department. Her batch mate, Ravi D Chennanavar DCP bangalore, said that she used to be terribly attentive in the training and was familiar to be a brave woman.

Ambika currently works as DCP North four division in mumbai.

If Ambika were to merely blame her parents for kid wedding and curse her fate, she wouldn't became a DCP today. rather than blaming the system or people, she created a brave attempt to change her future through hard work and of her husband's support.

Today Ambika has become a role model for several and there could be many more Ambikas hidden among us.

What do we understand by Legal Service:
Generally, when we speak about the Legal Services, it stands out to be Services from a person who is/are lawyer or are rendering services related to any law in India may be in terms of appearance in front of authorities, fighting cases and charge a consideration.  
What is Legal Service in GST:
Apparently, GST Act doesn’t define the word ‘Legal Services’. However, a definition of Legal Services can be seen from the Notification 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28th June 2017. Wherein, it states that:-
“Legal service” means any service provided in relation to advice, consultancy or assistance in any branch of law, in any manner and includes representational services before any court, tribunal or authority.
From the above extracts, it is widely clear that the definition of Legal Services gives a wide area to cover almost of all of the activities which is provided in relation to any Law.

Food for Thought – is that means, legal services for USA law to a person in India, be counted in this definition??
What is Reverse Charge in GST:-
Before that let us understand the word Reverse Charge Mechanism (‘RCM’). As we know normally the supplier of the Services only pays applicable GST on value of supply. And when the obligation to discharge this liability shifted by government to the recipient of the services, it is known as ‘Reverse Charge Mechanism’, wherein the supplier is not under any obligation to collect any GST from the recipient and recipient is required to comply the provisions to discharging this GST liability in the same way as the supplier was supposed to do, if it had to happen.
Reverse Charge on Legal Services:-
Having said that RCM is payable by Service Recipient, it is not always that he becomes liable to pay GST, but only when the government has notified such categories where the liability to pay GST is casted on the recipient of services. One of the said category is ‘Legal Services’ which has been notified under Serial No. 2 of Notification 13/2017- Central Tax (Rate) dated 28th June 2017.

The relevant provision can be understood as follows:

Who is Supplier – An Induvial or a Firm of Advocate

Whether, it mean that each and every recipient who is a Business Entity has to pay RCM on the Legal Services.
Well exactly not. First let us note that the word Business Entity has been defined in the said notification itself to means any person carrying out any business and secondly, there are certain exemptions which have been accorded by government in this regard.
What is the Exemption for Business Entity:-     
We can refer the Notification 12/2017 Central Tax (Rate) dated 28th June 2017 wherein Serial No. 45 (b) (iii) and (c) (ii) provides the exemption form payment of GST. The conditions are more interesting to note that the Business Entity has to be with an Aggregate Turnover of 20 Lacs Rupees (10 Lacs in case of Special Category States).

Food for Thought – will that mean, every registered person (being a company not always liable to pay RCM on Legal Services)?

She was born on 26 Jan 1971.
She lost her father at the age of 9.
From that age she started to work with her mom (my grandma) in the evening, and in the morning, she used to go school.
She was the school’s second ranker in 10th standard (356 marks out of 500 in the year of 1988) and she scored 920 in 11th annual exam.
But because of her family, she stopped going school (she did not even complete her 12th standard).

In 1991, she married her uncle’s son (Rovi).
Her married life was not that successful. She struggled lot.
In 1993 her husband left her alone and went away (when she was pregnant).
In same year she was blessed with a boy baby (Surya), and she started to live her life only for her son.
After the baby was born, within eight months, she started to work at a day and night shift. (Day shift timing is 8 am to 8 pm & night shift timing is 8 pm to 8 am).
For 18 years she worked in a textile factory, day and night.
During those 18 years, both mom and son struggled a lot. Tea and 3 rupees’ Parle-G biscuit and bread jam became the major food in their life. Sometimes they ate only once per day.
Her husband came back (Rovi)
She taught lot of things to her son especially about people and who a woman is.
Finally her son completed 12th standard in the year of 2010. She wanted him to become an engineer.
Now she realized that the working under someone will not help her son become an engineer.
So she sold all her gold which was given by her mom on her marriage.
Using that money she started her own textile factory (She named the factory after her son).
In her own factory she worked like slave for four years and educated her son to become a SOFTWARE ENGINEER.
Now she got one hand to clap with her.
She and her son started one more factory in the year of 2016.Her factory became the one of the best factory in her town.
Now there are 15 employees working under her (For women employees there are some concessions).

Now she crossed 46, still she is working in her factory at the management level.
She started to run at the age of 9 she is still running .
She taught one big thing to manys life i.e,
RUN RUN RUN. Don’t wait for good time for something. Whenever you need anything, start to work for that, one day definitely you will get what you want.
Now Surya at Mumbai. Whenever I feel down I just look at my mom’s pic which is in my wallet, and once I look at my mom’s pic, my confidence level will increase and my mind always tells me you are nothing in-front of your mom’s hard work.
She became my inspiration not only as a mom but also through her hard work.
No one can replace her place in my life (Surya).
